Dr. Ali was a 2nd opinion. During my consultation he was attentive and answered all my questions, and I did not feel rushed. My first consultation with a different doctor and hospital was poor. The morning of my surgery after I was prepped and waiting to enter the OR, Dr. Ali and his staff all stopped by and asked me how I was feeling and answered any questions that I had. I have also been very pleased with his office staff. RN Jechel Nguyen has been very responsive in returning my messages and completing any required paperwork in a timely manner. I was skeptical using the MyChart app, but it worked well in keeping me informed and updated regarding my case. I am grateful that I was treated by him and the results have exceeded my expectations. I have peace of mind knowing that he will continue to care for me in the future. I highly recommend Dr. Ali.

On Friday night, January 30, 2026, during an incredibly stressful situation involving my father’s skilled nursing facility, the ER team at UCLA Medical Center in Orange stepped up in a way I will never forget. It was a busy Friday night, yet the staff treated my father with urgency, dignity, and genuine compassion. What could have been a chaotic and impersonal experience instead felt human and attentive. After we arrived, the ER team worked tirelessly — not just medically, but administratively — coordinating with insurance, social workers, and case management. When my father became stuck in the ER due to complications with his prior facility refusing readmission, the UCLA team did not give up on him. They continued advocating, communicating, and ultimately helped secure placement in a better facility after nearly a week in limbo. That level of follow-through meant everything to our family. I especially want to recognize Nurse Claire in the ER. Her kindness and humanity were extraordinary. She gave my father blankets, made sure he was comfortable, and even offered me blankets, food, and water during a long and emotional night. She cleaned my father up with such care and dignity. After 10 hours of uncertainty, she brought calm, reassurance, and genuine bedside compassion that I will never forget. I also want to thank Dr. Carson Dangberg for advocating for my father during a very unfortunate situation. His professionalism and willingness to step in made a real difference. In one of the hardest moments for our family, this ER team reminded us that healthcare can still be compassionate and patient-centered. We are deeply grateful.

I love everything about this medical hospital, the doctors and nurses staff, tecknitions specialists, ext. I love it all. This place saved my mom's and she lived 6yrs longer even went back to work full time but she just couldn't kick the habit, smoking. But at least I had extra time. They have also been taking care of me I've had bad experience with Fountian Valley doctors and I begged them to send me to UCI and so they did and I'm good and sadly I'm having other major health issues but I'm in good hands. Thank you very much

My baby was in BICU for 2 weeks and they did an excellent job. I am amazed and thankful that he was transferred here. They really have the best burn unit in socal. My baby is healing fast and i am still amazed at the burn location. Technology has gone very far and the surgeons are amazing. I dont know about other units but their burn unit is 10/10

Great hospital with friendly staff including the MDs. I've received exceptional services in various departments. I was skeptical at first back in March 2025, where I was initially seen in the ER. My experience in the ER wasn't the greatest, it was a busy night and it took a very long time to be seen & treated. Plus, the security(s) on duty at the time wasn't consistent. They allowed some patients to be accompanied by more than 1 person, I watched patients who came in after me getting a visitors pass for their spouse, partners, friends, family yet I was denied for hours until I had to demand to speak with a shift supervisor. I feel like the security was either playing favoritism or just lacked good judgement. Now, that I'm a returning patient. I've received great services in other departments & everyone has been professional and fair.

I recently completed a biopsy procedure at the UCI Health Chao Ambulatory Surgical Center in Irvine. I continue to be impressed by the top-notch service I've received from the entire medical team I encountered. The facility, which is less than 2 years old, is modern, clean, and bright. The UCI Health MyChart portal offers efficient communication channel between patients and the medical staff. My doctor, anesthesiologist, nurse practitioner, and nurses from this encounter provided detailed clinical notes and description of my pre-op/post-op evaluation and procedures within 24 hours. Dr. S. Ali, my specialist/surgeon, is very adept and experienced in his specialty procedures. I trust his expertise and knowledge using the latest technology to perform the necessary procedures. He respects and listens well to his patients. He offers options and recommends action plan to give patients an opportunity to share their concerns or buy in. Dr. C. Chu, my anesthesiologist, was very capable and thorough. She explained what I would be expecting from the process. I recommend her highly to patients looking for a trustworthy anesthesiologist. Kudos also to Sheila N. (NP), Faith D. (RN), and Yerika C. (RN) who were attentive to my needs, and offered me a relaxed pre-op and post-op experience at the Chao center. I am impressed with the attitude and competency of the new generation of medical team at UCI Health.

Most hospitals are built to hold illness. The UCI Regional Burn Center in Orange feels like it was built to hold hope. You notice it before anyone says a word. The lobby stretches upward, filled with light instead of fluorescent resignation. There is a sculpture suspended from the ceiling that seems to ignore gravity, as though someone decided that even here, beauty deserved a seat at the table. And then you remember why you’ve come. Our family arrived because my younger sister had suffered catastrophic burns. Nothing prepares you for that sentence. The days that followed were filled with vocabulary no family ever hopes to learn. Debridement. Grafting. Infection risk. Dressing changes. Percent body surface area. But alongside all of that was something harder to measure. People. The nurses who somehow managed to be technically brilliant without ever becoming emotionally distant. The physicians who explained complicated decisions without making us feel small. The therapists who celebrated millimeters of progress as though they’d witnessed miracles. The staff who learned our names, remembered our fears, and somehow made one of the most specialized burn centers in the country feel deeply human. Burn medicine is unusual. It asks clinicians to inflict pain today so that healing is possible tomorrow. That is an extraordinary burden for patients, for families, and for the people who choose this work every morning. Watching them, I realized something. Compassion isn’t softness. Compassion is competence delivered gently. It is knowing exactly what must be done while never forgetting who it is happening to. My sister’s story ended in loss. No review can change that. But grief has a strange way of sharpening gratitude. In the middle of the hardest chapter our family has ever lived, the people at the UCI Regional Burn Center gave us something medicine cannot prescribe: dignity. Orange County is fortunate to have this program. It is the county’s only Ameri

There are reviews you write because the food was good. There are reviews you write because the service was decent. And then there are reviews you write because an entire team of absolute legends reminded you what real professionalism, compassion, dignity, and genuine human kindness actually look like in healthcare. This is that review. From the second I walked into this Emergency Department until I left, every single person I encountered treated me like a human being — not a number, not a burden, not a waste of their time. No rushing. No dismissing. No attitude. Just consistent, world-class respect. The security team deserves massive props first. They politely told me I couldn’t bring my vape inside and handled it with zero power trip, zero ego, and zero unnecessary drama. Just clear, professional communication done right. Later I watched them de-escalate a frustrated patient with incredible calm and dignity. They kept order while still treating the person like a person. That’s rare and it’s impressive as hell. The medical staff were equally outstanding. The nurse who drew my blood made it look effortless — the kind of effortless that only comes from true mastery and caring about your craft. What could’ve been painful and stressful was a complete non-event because of her skill and reassuring presence. Every nurse, every tech, every staff member I interacted with delivered the same level of excellence. No exceptions. That kind of consistency across an entire ER shift isn’t luck — it’s culture. The facility was clean, organized, and ran efficiently. Questions were answered clearly, updates were timely, labs were quick, and results were explained thoroughly. I walked in concerned and walked out informed, reassured, and with a clear plan for follow-up care. In an industry where people show up on some of their worst days — scared, overwhelmed, hurting, frustrated — this team shows up every single day with patience, empathy, and grace. They maintained professionalism in a

What an amazing facility. I took my wife to UCI for an outpatient procedure and what a class act. From check-in to check-out the staff were amazingly kind, compassionate and efficient. The parking is a bit crazy but the Facilities are clean and well maintained. My wife was well cared for and the nursing team were phenomenal as was her physician. I also checked out the cafeteria and had a breakfast sandwich and coffee while I waited for my wife to return to the recovery room. A nice experience and my wife is doing well. Highly recommended
